When it comes to websites, we lean toward open source content management systems to create results-oriented, standards-compliant, and easy to maintain websites. During the discovery phase of development, we match our clients’ functional and design requirements with one of several open source CMS applications, including WordPress and Joomla!. We’re also big fans of a few commercial CMS applications, including Expression Engine.
Whether it’s free* or commercial, we’ll take the time to understand the marketing objectives of your website as well as the human capital that will be required of your business to maintain the website.
* “Free” doesn’t always work as desired and sometimes ends up costing quite a bit, as we both know. Please rest assured that we won’t try to steer you toward open source unless it’s a good fit for everyone involved.
